Adventures In Savings At Walgreens

Ok I know I have been shopping at Walgreens a lot lately, but it’s all so new and thrilling for me.  Our Walgreens is only about a year old and I just started shopping there last month.  I had no idea the deals I was missing till I got into coupon shopping again. I’m getting to know all the employees by name.

My special order 9 hair colors came in and I picked them up.  7.99 regular less 2.00 store coupon and less 2.00 manuf. coupon so they were 3.99 each. I got 12 total,  saving me 48.00 on a years supply.

While I was there I also picked up a Venus embrace razor. The store deal was 9.99 -6.00 register rewards so the final price was 3.99 and I had a 4.00 off coupon so it was FREE and I also picked up two more FREE items after rebate Walgreens Maxi Pads and an Oral B toothbrush.

Then I stocked up on liquid Zest and Old Spice soap the deal was 3/$10.00 and I got 9 for 30.00. I had 6 -35cent coupons for the zest so that was less 2.10 and I also got $20.00 in register rewards. So I got 9,  13oz and 18oz bottles of body soap for 7.90 total or .88 cents each.  The register did not spit out my 20.00 reward so the manager had to come over and re ring it for me.  Make sure you know the offers and have them figured out before you go to the store.  It gets pretty confusing but it’s well worth the trouble.

I bought a Febreze for 3.99 and got one free with a manuf. coupon.  I’ll be going back again before the end of the week since I have those register rewards to use.

FYI Everyone from every state can now fill out their Walgreens Easy Saver forms every month online.  I’ll give it a try at the end of the month and let you know how it goes.

I’m still working on my daily survey sites.  I’ll report on that at the end of the month
