I have been seeing this banner pop up a lot on different sites and decided to check it out.   Swag Bucks is a site where you can earn their form of money called Swagbucks in several different ways.  Then you can spend your swagbucks in their store on all kids of different products.   I like cash better and guess what?  You can also purchase gift cards with your Swagbucks, good as cash for me.

Rosalind Gardner has taught me a lot of what I know about affiliate marketing.  I purchased her book a few years ago and keep it near by as a reference. Ros has just updated the book this month to keep up with changes on the Internet.  After you purchase her book all the updates are free so I just downloaded my new copy.  I personally prefer having a paper copy so I plan to print out any new info and add it to my hard book copy.

If you are unsure of what affiliate marketing is, I can tell you it’s a quick and easy way to start making money on the Internet without having a product of your own to sell.  As an affiliate you will earn a commission on the sales your marketing efforts produce.  You market other peoples products and services. There are so many ways to get your links out there for people to click on and make a purchase.  Many of those ways are FREE so it’s a great way to get started risk free. Choose products you are interested in or ones you have a targeted market for.

So in my quest to earn multi streams of income I’m finally giving Squidoo a try. I first heard about Squidoo from a call I was on where they were interviewing bestselling author Seth Godin the founder of Squidoo, about three years ago. It all sounded very interesting and I filed away the knowledge and moved onto something else.

Squidoo is free to join and create “lenses” or pages. It’s a place you can share what you know on just about any subject. You can share your favorite people, places or things. If you use affiliate links and a product is purchased from you lens you will earn 50% of the commission, Squidoo gets the other half. You can also earn when friends sign up from your link and when they earn $15.00 Squidoo will pay you $5.00. You can also sell your own products and earn that way too. Then you can sell any lens you make to the highest bidder. It’s so easy even kids can do it.

I created my first lens Cool Accessories For Mini Digital Camcorders Like The Flip Mino I just got my Flip Mino and I wanted to see what accessories were out there so I compiled all the info into my first lens. I came across a week long mini course that walked me through the entire process from Jackie AKA Momtohanna .

I placed my ink order on Oct 15 late in the afternoon from the midwest and I just got my order today Oct. 18 shipped from the west coast.  Great job 4inkjets.com.  Very happy customer here and I’ll be shopping there again.

Here’s my first assignment for the challenge.  I never seem to have any trouble speaking untill I’m infront of a camera. The winner for the video challenge will get a 42 inch tv from Russell.  Make sure you watch till to the very end to see why I want that tv.
